Define the requirement
A search becomes useful when the product, specifications, quantities, delivery location and acceptable lead time are explicit. Separate mandatory conditions from preferences. A technically suitable manufacturer can still be commercially unusable if minimum order quantities, payment terms or delivery schedules do not fit.
Verify the operating capacity
Confirm who manufactures, who sells and who controls available capacity. Ask what can be supplied against the actual requirement, on what schedule, and under which conditions. Distinguish a published capability from capacity available for this order. Treat unverified statements as questions to resolve.
Compare the whole route
Compare purchase price alongside transport, documentation, inspection requirements and the cost of a failed delivery. Identify which facts require specialist confirmation. Keep the commercial comparison separate from legal or technical conclusions that RCServices has not been mandated or qualified to provide.
Structure before introducing
Before sharing sensitive requirements or introducing actors, define the mandate, the deliverables, the responsibilities and the remuneration. A good sourcing mandate produces a qualified route and recorded next steps, rather than a list that leaves the buyer to restart the work.
